MITEX is the major tool exhibition in the Eastern Europe that every year attracts more and more exhibitors and visitors. Over 10,000 trade visitors attend MITEX every year.
570 companies from 20 countries including Austria, Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, India, Spain, Italy, China, South Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, the U.S., Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Japan will take part in MITEX 2013.

Over the years MITEX exhibition has gained a reputation of a primary meeting place for manufacturers, distributors, dealers and professional users of power tools, bench and mounting tools, petrol powered tools, abrasives, fittings, power generators, professional cleaning and heating equipment, snow bowlers, gardening tools and machinery.
The tool industry leaders, including Amida/Sparki, Brigadir technologies, Wald, VNESHTECHKONTRAKT, German Tools, Interskol, INFRAKOM, Kalibr 2001, KДRCHER, LIT TRADING, Meritlink Rus, METABO, Planeta instrument, Pride TFGm PRorab, Sorokin Trade House, TTI, UNISAW, Centre of Tool Trading, HITACHI POWER TOOLs netherlands, HYUNDAI, Sturm, Encore, etc. are among MITEX 2013 exhibitors. The companies from Germany, China, Taiwan and Czech Republic will demonstrate their products and services at joint expositions.
An intensive business programme will be held alongside the show. Many of the events have already become the traditional ones: the Students Programme, exhibitors’ master classes, demonstration shows, etc.
This year the Organizers together with RATPE Association have prepared a wide programme for professional tool users, aimed first of all at the experts of building industry, housing and utility sector, repair and woodworking.
At the specially designed Demonstration Area (Pavilion #2 Hall #3) the world leading tools and equipment developers and manufacturers will demonstrate their novelties to the MITEX visitors. Interskol is preparing a wide programme on woodworking (Felisatti) and concrete working. Metabo and Hitachi will show their tools in operation. Robert Bosch and Hilti will present their novelties for professional builders and students of building colleagues.
Stanley Black & Decker will demonstrate their industrial equipment and DeWALT power tools.
A special focus will be on woodworking this year: many companies will demonstrate their equipment and tools. WOOD-Master magazine will represent the programme “Tool is Master’s Main Assistant” where the visitors can see the new products of the leading tool manufacturers, learn more about all pros and cons of a particular tool from the professional artisans, attend various master classes, try tools in work, participate in contests, buy wooden crafts.
For several years the Organizers have implemented a special Students Programme aimed at young specialists and future industry experts. The Programme’s mission is to provide the future tools users and buyers an opportunity to see the latest trends and technologies in the global tool industry and the advanced products of the world famous brands.
The MITEX advertising campaign aimed at attracting wholesalers, retailers and professional tool users was launched in May 2013. The exhibition has been advertised in 20 specialized printed media, and on the leading portals dedicated to building, construction and tools. During the year the Organizers have been working intensively on promoting the official exhibition’s website www.mitexpo.ru. The site traffic is growing every day, and the organizers are getting more requests for e-invitations to the show.
The Organizers together with “Potrebitel” Publishing House have issued MITEX NEWS periodical edition which is published twice a year and distributed in the major tool retail chains and shops, as well as in the internet shops.
In anticipation of the exhibition the Organizers launched a large-scale advertising campaign in the regions of Russia aimed at professional consumers from Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa. The MITEX advertising was posted on the city web portals in Krasnodar, Chelyabinsk, Samara, Magnitogorsk, Saratov, Lipetsk, Sochi, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Togliatti, Ufa.
Every year the organizers carry out the regional direct mail campaign. This year 10 million potential visitors get their invitation to MITEX by mail. One of the most effective tools for informing and attracting visitors are the e-mails. The Organizers send regular electronic newsletters to the potential visitors using the e-mail databases of construction companies, contractors, retailer shops and chains, woodworking, forestry companies, etc. (approximately 70,000 addresses).
